Is this legal?
NEXUS operates lawfully in Mexico, where the retreat takes place. This website does not encourage or help anyone obtain or use controlled substances where they are illegal, and we do not ship or sell any substances.
Do you make medical claims?
No. We make no medical or therapeutic claims and promise no outcomes. Nothing we publish is medical advice. Please consult your own physician before applying.
Is it safe, and who is it not for?
Safety is our first protocol. Every place begins with medical and psychological screening. The work is not appropriate for everyone, see our Safety and Screening and Contraindications pages, and we decide suitability together through conversation.
What substance is used?
Our ceremonies work with psilocybin, within a supported and contained setting. Exact details are discussed during screening.
Do I need to stop my medication?
Do not stop any prescribed medication on your own. Some medications, including SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, and lithium, can interact with psilocybin. This is reviewed carefully with you and, where appropriate, your own doctor.
How does booking work?
There is no instant online booking. You send an inquiry, and a facilitator reaches out personally to arrange an unhurried screening conversation before any place is confirmed.
Do I need to be over 18?
Yes. Participation is limited to adults aged 18 and over.
What is integration, and why does it matter?
The ceremony is one day inside a seven-day arc. The days after are dedicated to integration, making sense of the experience and carrying it gently into daily life. We consider preparation and integration to be the heart of the work, not extras.
Is food included, and what kind?
Yes. All meals are included and plant-based, with no animal products, alongside a tea and coffee bar. If you have specific dietary needs, tell us during screening and we will accommodate where we can.
Where does the retreat take place?
In a private, secluded house surrounded by garden and nature in Mexico, away from other residences. For the privacy of our guests, the exact location is shared with you once your place is confirmed.
How big are the groups?
Intentionally small. NEXUS is built around close, personal attention rather than large numbers, so the team can stay present with each guest throughout the week.
What language is the retreat in?
English. If you would feel more comfortable in another language, mention it during your screening conversation and we will let you know what is possible.
How do I get there?
You travel to Mexico, and we share arrival details, including transfers, once your place is confirmed. We keep the logistics simple and personal.
When does the first retreat take place?
This is our very first retreat, so rather than fixing a date and filling seats, we are gathering a small founding group first and will set the dates together with the confirmed cohort. Join the interest list and we will be in touch as it takes shape.
What does it cost, and how does payment work?
Our first retreat is a pilot. The founding cohort joins at a founding rate of 3,500 € per participant, half of our regular 7,000 €, as thanks for trusting us with our very first retreat. It includes the seven days, all ceremonies and facilitation, preparation and integration, meals, and accommodation. Deposit and payment terms are discussed honestly during your screening conversation, without pressure.
