Your privacy, held with care.
We collect only what we need to respond to your inquiry and run this site, and we treat it as confidential. This policy explains what we process and your rights under the GDPR.
Who is responsible
This website is operated by NEXUS, operated by [OPERATING ENTITY], based in Mexico (the “operator”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy question, contact us at by email.
Because we offer our retreat to people in the EU and EEA, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the personal data we process about you.
What we collect
- Inquiry form: your name, email address, your message, and any optional details you choose to share, such as preferred dates.
- Scheduling: if you book an introductory call, your booking details are processed through our scheduling provider.
- Analytics: privacy-conscious, cookie-light usage statistics. We set no tracking cookies and never sell your data. A coarse traffic source may be derived from the referring website, without storing information that identifies you.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider processes standard server logs, such as IP address and request data, to deliver and secure the site.
Why we process it, and the legal basis
- To respond to your inquiry and take steps at your request before any agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To operate, secure, and improve this website, including privacy-friendly analytics (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Where we ask for it, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
Health and other sensitive data
We do not collect health or other special-category data through this website. Medical and psychological information shared during screening is handled separately, outside this site, with additional safeguards and on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)).
Service providers
We use a small set of carefully chosen providers who process data on our behalf to run the site and reach you:
- Vercel for website hosting and content delivery.
- Turso for an EU-hosted database that stores inquiry submissions.
- mailbox.org for email, based in Germany.
- PostHog for EU-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics.
- Cal.com for scheduling introductory calls.
International transfers
As our operator is based in Mexico and some providers operate outside the EU/EEA, your data may be transferred internationally. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. (The exact transfer mechanism and any EU representative under Art. 27 GDPR are being finalized with our legal advisor.)
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting relationship, and then delete it. Analytics are retained only in aggregate, non-identifying form.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact us at by email.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. The current version always lives on this page.
